Nigerian forces rescues 160 from 'baby factory'

(MENAFN) An official has declared that over 160 toddlers have been saved from a "baby factory", as well as another two unlisted orphanages in Nigeria's main city, Lagos.

Agboola Dabiri added that some of the children had been sexually assaulted.

"Baby factories" are common in Nigerian, as authorities usually carry out raids on them.

In some cases, single pregnant women are assured to get healthcare, yet their children are snatched after birth, while in other cases, women are rapped and forced to keep the babies.
