French president: Trump to 'get rid' of Iranian nuclear accord

(MENAFN) French President Emmanuel Macron declared that he believes President Trump remains determined to drop the Iranian nuclear accord.

President Macron suggested the possibility he might have been unsuccessful in his attempts to influence President Trump in keeping an international agreement with Iran.

At the conclusion of the three-day US trip, the French president stated "my view is... that he will get rid of this deal on his own, for domestic reasons."

The US president was given a deadline, May 12, to set on a resolution in regards to the agreement, which looks for Iran to stop its nuclear activities.
