The OnePlus 6 to launch in India on May 17

OnePlus has finally announced that the company's much-awaited flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 6 will launch in India on May 17 (3 pm IST) at an official event in Mumbai.
The device will debut in China only a few hours ahead of its India launch at 7:30 am IST.
Further, the OnePlus 6 will be unveiled in London on May 16 itself.

Fans can attend the launch event for Rs. 999
Details
OnePlus will start selling launch event entry vouchers to the general public from May 8.
The tickets will be priced at Rs. 999 and will be bundled with vouchers worth Rs. 999, a cash cannon, and company-branded tote bag, cap, t-shirt, and notebook.
Notably, the OnePlus 6 will exclusively start selling on Amazon at 12 pm IST on May 21 only for Prime members.

OnePlus 6 will reportedly sport a 6.2-inch Full HD+ display with a wide-screen aspect ratio of 19:9, 16MP + 20MP dual rear cameras, a 20MP front camera, and a 3,450mAh battery.
It will feature three variants of 6GB RAM/64GB, 8GB RAM/128GB, and a humongous 12GB RAM/256GB option.
It will run the Android Oreo-based Oxygen 5.1 OS and be powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor.

Features
The upcoming phone will feature a notch, a headphone jack, a bottom bezel, 4K video recording capability, and IP68 water resistance.
It will have OnePlus's biggest screen with a 90% screen-to-body ratio. It will come in black, blue and white color options and will have an all-new black panel.
There is no word on pricing, but it is expected to start selling at Rs. 39,000.
An Avengers-themed OnePlus 6 variant is hinted at

The company has partnered with Marvel Studios to bring out an Avengers-themed OnePlus 6 variant. This exclusive model is expected to debut around the India release of 'Avengers: Infinity War' on April 27.
