(MENAFN) The leader of Spain's Madrid region has quit amid robbery accusations, weeks after she was claimed responsibility for fabricating a master's degree.
Footage from seven years ago, revealed Cristina Cifuentes giving items to a supermarket security guard.
Ms Cifuentes, aged 53, has handed her master's after the document exposed two faked signatures.
She declared: "It was an involuntary mistake and it's being used to go beyond political issues, it's personal,"
