(MENAFN- KNN India) Internshala launches Intern with Icon 3.0 – an opportunity to intern with experts
New Delhi, Apr 25 (KNN) Internship and training platform, Internshala, has launched the third edition of ‘Intern with Icon' (IwI) with the tagline - 'For the icons of tomorrow'.
'This summer, students across India would get an opportunity to intern with 15 eminent personalities like Chairman, AICTE, Dr Anil Sahasrabudhe; the renowned Indian singer,Sona Mohapatra; the former World and Olympic shooter, Abhinav Bindra; the Indian actor and social activist, Rahul Bose;Minister of State for Civil Aviation,Jayant Sinha etc, Internshala said in a release.
The desire to give back to the society, contribute towards building the careers of the youth, and work with bright minds are just a few of the many reasons why these icons are excited to be a part of IwI 3.0.
The online event was launched on Tuesday while the students will have a 2-day window to apply for internships on 29th and 30th April.
Intern with Icon was launchedin 2016with an objective to provide students with a once in a lifetime opportunity to work and learn from their role models.
Students are actively looking for opportunities in unconventional profiles these days and with an aim to provide internships in diverse profiles, Intern with Icon 3.0 would offer internships in fields ranging from video editing, research, graphic design to social media marketing and management.
This initiative will help the youth acquire job-specific skills from the experts while they learn essential life lessons.
On the launch of Intern with Icon 3.0, Sarvesh Agrawal, the founder & CEO of Internshala, said, "Through this initiative, we hope to encourage the youth to follow their passion and help them learn directly from their role models.There is no dearth of talent in India, and we realised that if students can get mentorship from these icons, it would equip them with industry knowledge and soft skills."
