FIFA senior executive hit with ethics breach claims

(MENAFN) FIFA executive Fatma Samoura has been accused of violating the ethics rules of the organization, as she was reported to the ethics committee.

The allegations were said to have involved "duty of disclosure, co-operation and reporting" as well as "conflicts of interest".

President Gianni Infantino has chosen Samoura in 2016 to become the new secretary general of football's world governing body.

The senior executive was confirmed to have been reported as a result of accusations involved in Morocco's offer for the 2026 World Cup to take place in it.
