(MENAFN) South Korean carmaker Hyundai Motor Group said Wednesday it will introduce two new vehicles at this year's Beijing Motor Show to attract more local customers.

The company said it will introduce the 'Lafesta,' a localized sporty sedan that will only be sold in China, with an aim to sell the model in the fourth quarter.

Hyundai's corporate affiliate Kia Motors Corp. also plans to launch the 'YI PAO' sport utility vehicle, another model custom-made for the Chinese domestic market, in the second half of this year.

According to the company, at the motor show that runs through May 4, Hyundai and Kia will display 28 vehicles, including two concept cars and environmentally friendly models.
