(MENAFN- KNN India) BBIA holds awareness program on budgetary support under GST for MSMEs
New Delhi, Apr 24 (KNN) An Awareness program on the budgetary support of GST reimbursement to the industrial sector of Jammu and Kashmir was conducted at Bari Brahmana Industries Association in collaboration with Commercial Tax Department under the leadership of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti.
The main aim of the event was to help the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) understand the various benefits given to the sector under the support package from the government.
Speaking at the occasion, President of BBIA, Lalit Mahajan appreciated the steps taken by Commissioner, Commercial Tax Department for conducting seminar to educate the industrial sector regarding documents required at the time of inspection for reimbursement of GST claims under SRO-519, 521 and 63.
Further he also appreciated the efforts of government for finding out ways and means for the simplification of procedures of reimbursement of GST claims under the ease of doing business.
Mahajan, in his Presidential remark thanked the government for providing budgetary support to industrial sector of J & K.
During the program, Neeraj Sharma CTO Circle requested the unit holders to cooperate with the Departmental officials for early settlement of claims. (KNN/YV)
