(MENAFN) Madonna has lost a court request to stop a previous friend auctioning off private items, with love letters and a comb with strands of her hair among them.
A New York judge has declined the pop star's case against Darlene Lutz, declaring that the term of limitation to get back her items has passed.
The items included a break up letter from the rapper Tupac, who has died 22 years ago, and whom Madonna has dated confidentially.
The auction will continue on July, according to entertainment website TMZ reports.
