(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) JAMRUD: The people affected militancy in Rajgal area of Tirah Valley Tuesday held another rally in Khyber Agency to pursue their demand of compensation for damages during military operation.
The rally started from Bab-e-Khyber and ended at Jamrud Press Club where the participants raised slogans in favour of the Pakistan Army. The rally participants demanded the government to ensure registration of all the remaining temporarily displaced persons (TDPs), resumption of ration supply, payment of compensation and honourable repatriation of the displaced people. They said their ration was withheld by the Fata Disaster Management Authority (FDMA) after a lawmaker told it that there were no TDPs in his constituency. However, they said, the ration was restored after a long struggle by the TDPs. They thanked the FDMA for restoration the ration.
They said the lawmakers of NA-44 and NA-45 constituencies of Khyber Agency had promised to serve them, but they did nothing for their people except making tall claims.
The rally participants also hailed the sacrifices of the Pakistan Army, Levies and Khassadar personnel for bringing peace in the area.
