Abu Dhabi Masdar, Costa Rica to exchange energy knowledge


(MENAFN) Abdu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar) and Costa Rica's Electricity Institute (ICE) were confirmed to have signed a memorandum of understanding for the swap of technical expertise in renewable energy initiatives.

The Costa Rican Ministry of Foreign Affairs revealed both companies to be set, under the agreement, to join forces in floating photovoltaic (PV) and smart city technologies.

The ministry also said that they will also cooperate in power generation at utility-scale and off-grid, along with battery storage.
