Kuwait- CSRSIR security ID cardholders to be exempted from paying medical fees


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, April 23: In the meeting held between the Central System for Remedying Status of Illegal Residents (CSRSIR) and Ministry of Health, a decision was taken to exempt holders of security ID cards issued by CSRSIR paying medical fees just like citizens regardless of the observations recoded in the security IDs, reports Al- Rai daily quoting sources from CSRSIR.

They said the ministry approved the request of CSRSIR to equalize holders of security ID cards with holders of health insurance cards for exempting the former from paying charges for medical services. Acting Secretary General of CSRSIR ret Lieutenant General Najib Al-Othman represented CSRSIR in the meeting along with Director of Legal Affairs Department Colonel Lawyer Dr Sharif Al-Kandari. Assistant Undersecretary for Legal Affairs at Ministry of Health Salman Al-Haifiand Assistant Undersecretary for Financial Affairs Mohammad Al-Azmi represented Ministry of Health in the meeting.
