(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar athletics team kept its winning streak by claiming two gold medals and one silver medal on the second day of Arab Youth Athletics Championship 2018 in Amman, Jordan. Qatar's Mohanad Khamis clinched gold medal in the 3,000m steeplechase on Saturday while teammate Rania Raed confidently claimed the discus throw. Qatar Athletics Federation assistant secretary-general Talal Mansour appreciated achievements of Qatar's young athletes. Qatar team is being represented by elite young athletes including Saoud Abdulaziz al-Homaidi in 110m steeplechase, Jabir Hilal and Abdulrahman al-Khater in 100m and 200m events, Khamis in 3,000m steeplechase and 1,500m, along other names in discus throw, high jump and shot put.
