Air Asia, a Malaysian low-cost airline has plans to begin direct flights from and Chittagong to Malaysian destinations.
Datuk Kamarudin Bin Meranun, Executive Director and Group Chief Executive Officer of AirAsia said while inaugurated Passenger Sales Agent (PSA) office in on April 22.
He said that AirAsia will be cheapest airlines for destinations to Malaysia and connecting with South-East countries.
The PSA office is contracted to Shiper Air Services owned by Shiper Ahmed, President of Chamber of Commerce and Industries.
At the inauguration of the AirAsia PSA office, Kamarudin cut the ribbons and also cut cakes.
