(MENAFN) Iraq's military have revealed its air force to have launched airstrikes against Islamic State (IS) militants' locations within Syria, eventually killing 36 of the terrorists.
The Iraqi Joint Operations Command issued a statement confirming 36 militants of the IS to have died in the airstrikes.
It also confirmed Iraqi fighter jets to have attacked, acting on intelligence reports, locations the terrorists have been occupying, such as a meeting place for several of IS leaders.
