Serco Middle East expands its growth and development team by appointing Ayesha Sultan as Managing Director Growth.


Serco Middle East, a leading provider of public services has expanded its Growth team in the region by appointing Ms. Ayesha Sultan as Managing Director Growth. Ayesha Sultan, a UAE National, is a tri-lingual strategy and investment professional with over 18 years of experience across the UAE, UK and France, with multinational organisations including Dubai Holding, DP World, Dubai Expo 2020, PA Consulting Group, Royal Bank of Scotland, Pfizer, GlaxoSmithKline and Government entities. Ms. Sultan will be reporting directly to David Greer the CEO of Serco Middle East. Ayesha holds an MSc. in Operational Research and BSc. in Mathematics and French from the University of Southampton, UK and she has completed a Leadership programme from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, USA. She is also a Fellow and Chartered Director of the UK Institute of Directors (MSc, BSc, CDir, FIoD) and she was a mentor on the pilot programme for ‘European Women on Board’ hosted out of Brussels, Belgium. David Greer, CEO of Serco Middle East states: “Ayesha brings with her considerable Middle East expertise and experience in joint operations, growth strategies and mergers and acquisitions. Ayesha is a key addition to our team and her appointment comes at a time when we are continuing to expand across the Middle East and promote the development of national staff. She will be responsible for enhancing our customer base, identifying, shaping and helping to win new contracts and spearhead growth across our existing client base and help expand business across all current and adjacent geographies. She will also take a lead role in the further development of our Al Mosharakah Programme aimed at the career enhancement of all Emirati and GCC national staff.” Ms. Ayesha Sultan is a board member of Alliance Francaise Institute in Dubai and has held various non-executive Board roles across the UAE including serving as an Independent Non Executive Board member of TECOM Group, Chairperson of the Audit and Risk Committee, and Vice Chairperson of the Executive Human Capital Committee, as well as a Board member and Chairperson of the Audit and Risk Committee of Smart City Dubai, part of Dubai Holding. In addition she has served on the Boards of DP World London Gateway Port and DP World London Gateway Park, in the UK.
