Israel detains fifteen Hamas operatives


(MENAFN) The Israeli military declared the country to have captured on Sunday fifteen Hamas operatives in the West Bank.

The operatives were confirmed to have been with nineteen Palestinians seized in the Ramallah area and the southern West Bank between Saturday and Sunday, the military revealed in its statement.

The statement explained the arrests to have occurred after contacting Hamas operative Khaled al-Din Hamed as well as other seniors in the Islamist organization.

The statement also claimed the men to have been "instructed to carry out different missions on behalf of the Hamas terror organization. In addition, the terror operatives received funds in order to promote Hamas actions in the area of their residencies."
