Qatar reiterates willingness for Gulf dispute talks

(MENAFN) Qatar has reportedly once again confirmed its preparations for talks to be conducted for the Gulf crisis to be settled.

Qatar's newspaper Al-Sharq reported Foreign Ministry's spokesperson Lulwah al-Khater to have noted how a new opportunity might have opened in the country's contribution in the "Gulf Shield Joint Exercise-1" for a resolution to the dispute with other Gulf countries.

"So far, we do not see any solution at the required level, but the defense ministry announced the presence of a Qatari military delegation in Saudi Arabia to participate in the drill," the spokesperson was cited in the report.

The spokesperson further pointed out the difficulty of anticipating the response that is to be given by the neighboring Gulf countries in the upcoming days.
