Jordan's ambassador to Singapore presents credentials

Singapore, April 21 (Petra)--Jordan's Ambassador to Singapore Mahmoud Daifallah Mahmoud Hmoud on Friday, presented his credentials to President of Singapore Halimah Yacob.

The ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah II to the Singaporean president as well as his keenness to forge closer bilateral ties in the political, economic, security and cultural fields.

President Yacob praised decision of the Jordanian government to open an embassy in Singapore, adding that it reflects keenness to strengthen relations between the two countries.

She also pointed to the important role played by Jordan at the regional and international levels to support peace and stability and combat terrorism.
