Ukrainian farmers should enter EU market not only with raw materials but also with products of processing industry Poroshenko


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) President Petro Poroshenko has noted the importance of Ukrainians bringing to the European market not only raw materials or products of the agrarian sector but also products of the processing industry.

He stated this at the AGROPORT West Lviv 2018 Forum during his working trip to Lviv region, the press service of the Head of State informed.

The Head of State stressed that Ukraine's largest market for its goods was the EU market. According to him, this market opened for Ukrainian products due to the introduction of a deep and comprehensive free trade area with the EU, which removes restrictions from the majority of commodity positions.

At the same time, he noted that the importance of Ukrainians bringing to the European market not only raw materials or products of the agrarian sector, but also products of the processing industry.

"My goal as of President is to support the farmer, support the small producer. To create conditions for training, helping, insuring, protecting him. To make him feel that the state cares about him," Poroshenko said.
