Dr. Seth Eisenberg is an established Psychiatrist who continues to provide exceptional care and support to his patients as Medical Director within the Illinois DHS Division of Alcohol and Substance Abuse, and he is also a Training Consultant at the Great Lakes Addiction Technology Transfer Center in Chicago, Illinois. Featuring over three decades of experience in his field, he has a special expertise in addiction, child and adolescent, and general psychiatry.
Dr. Eisenberg was educated at Washington University in St. Louis, earning his Bachelor's Degree in Religious Studies in 1970. Pursuing a career in psychiatry, he went on to attend the University of Health Sciences, Chicago Medical School, graduating with his Medical Degree in 1977. Dr. Eisenberg is board certified in General Psychiatry, Addiction Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He remains a distinguished member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine, the American Academy of Addictions Psychiatry, the American Telemedicine Association, and the National Council on Problem Gambling.
Dr. Eisenberg is also the Founder and CEO of Recovery Rebooted, LLC, an internet recovery program designed to support client driven efforts towards long term recovery. He is renowned as an expert in the treatment of co-occurring disorders, mental health diagnosis, integration of behavioral health and primary health care, motivational interviewing, brief interventions, recovery oriented care, and problem gambling. He attributes his success to continuing his education and training, and when he is not assisting his patients, Dr. Eisenberg enjoys exercising, reading, and spending time with his dog.
