Australia: man accuses friend of teenager's murder case


(MENAFN) A drug smuggler, who claimed responsibility for killing a teenager in a Sydney car park,has declared to the jury that he wasn't holding a weapon, and it was his best friend who fatally shot the young Commanchero gang member dead.

Joseph Gatt,aged 27, stands before NSW Supreme Court after he was acquitted form the murder case of Bassil Hijazi, aged 18, who was killed while sitting with another two.

Gatt confirmed while granting proof in court that he and Borg were in the area to exchange drugs when they got close to the parked car and a "firearm was produced against us".
