Oman- Royal Cavalry's Princess Marwan wins silver at competition in US


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Royal Cavalry's horses continue to make their mark in international competitions. Now, it was the turn of Princess Marwan, a two year old filly, to win silver at the Arabian Breeder World Cup in Las Vegas, US.

The event is one of the most important Arabian show competitions in the world. The filly was bred by the Royal Cavalry in France.

Brig Gen Abdularazak al Shahwarzi, Commander of Royal Cavalry said that Princess Marwan's silver medal win is a big boost for Royal Cavalry in the world stage. 'The championship saw tough competition due to participation of elite show horses. However, Princess Marwan did well and proved that she can do much better in future.'

Brig Gen Shahwarzi said that the decision to take part in the US competition was a courageous one taken after consultation with international expert Michael Bite.
