Khoo is one of 30 entrepreneurs from around the globe taking part in the program. According to EY, participants were selected based on their potential to grow globally, to solve significant real-world problems and deliver innovative solutions. The program will nurture the businesses of tomorrow and provide them with leading practices and support for their high growth.

Khoo is a graduate of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering program at the National University of Singapore. After founded Xerafy in 2010, Khoo has helped establish the company as the global leader for rugged, industrial RFID solutions in the healthcare, aerospace and other key industries. Over the years, Xerafy received a number of international awards such as the 2011 Red Herring Global Top 100 Award, the Frost & Sullivan Global Product Innovation Awards for RFID Embedded Technology and Automated Surgical Instrument Tracking Solution in 2011 and 2017 respectively, European Auto-ID award for Innovative Product & Solutions and was shortlisted for Best AI Application in Healthcare at the 2017 AIconics awards.
