Iraqi official rejects Arab troops presence in Syria

(MENAFN) On Thursday, an Iraqi national security advisor said that his country does not agree with deployment of Arab troops in Syria, IRNA reports.

'I don"t think these countries have the power to send forces to the crisis-stricken Syria. Going to Syria for war is no entertainment,' Faleh al-Fayyadh told Almayadeen.

Referring to the destructive path the Western-Arab forces have in Syria, he said, 'Some countries have spent a handsome amount of money on the Syrian war.'

He also said that Iraq and Syria are in touch, because the situation in Iraq and Syria are interrelated.

Commenting on the upcoming elections in Iraq, he said that no list can succeed alone.
