UK: drugs claim 12 lives since December


(MENAFN) Twelve people have died of drugs in one Cumbrian town since December, raising the death toll way higher than other cities.

Police declared that they are battling to prevent the amount of drugs such as heroin and crack cocaine in Barrow-in-Furness.

They added that police officers are in efforts to crack down gangs travelling from further cities,in order to sell them.

The county council accused government cuts of major decrease in drug and alcohol services.
