In a statement to SPA, the Palestinian President pointed out the importance of the 29th Arab Summit hosted by Saudi Arabia, as it comes at a time when the Palestinian issue is being subjected to a fierce attack. He also emphasised that the Palestinian authority has great confidence that the summit will affirm the Arab nation stands by the Palestinians and will support their legitimate struggle to end the occupation and establish an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
