Mahira Khan felt "violated" when her smoking pictures were leaked

Pakistani actress Mahira Khan found herself in an unwanted controversy when her smoking pictures with Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor were leaked on the Internet last year.
Talking about the same, Mahira has said that she felt violated for being photographed in a personal moment.
The 'Raees' star also dubbed the entire episode as crazy and ridiculous as it was blown out of proportion.

Soon after the pictures surfaced online, rumors of Mahira and Ranbir dating each other started doing the rounds.
Recounting the controversy, Mahira said, "That was the first time in my entire career that I was caught up in a so-called controversy and it was strange. You obviously feel violated, you are in a personal down time moment and someone has just photographed you."

"Obviously there was an uproar as I am extremely loved in Pakistan. They sort of keep me up on this pedestal and treat me with a lot of respect. And there are certain things I didn't realize that they don't want to see me do," she quipped.
