(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Nov 8: A newborn child was infl icted head injury by the doctor in charge of his treatment in Adan Hospital, says Al-Seyassah newspaper.
Parent of the baby boy said the baby sustained injury within the hospital premises due to negligence of the specialist. She lodged a complaint at the area police accusing the doctor of medical error. A case was registered and measures have since been taken to invite the doctor for questioning.
Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti woman was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of Adan Hospital for internal bleeding.
Husband of the lady filed a complaint in the area police station saying he took his wife to the hospital due to her illhealth and the doctor who examined him recommended relevant tests before undergoing treatment. He claimed the wife suffered internal bleeding during treatment due to medical error. A case was registered against the doctor.
