Germany gives life term sentence for Afghan refugee


(MENAFN) An Afghan refugee was given a life term sentence for the murder and sexual insult case of a woman in Germany,as the case raised concerns over the huge arrival of migrants.

Hussein Khavari has confessed the chargers against him on the medical student aged 19, Maria Ladenburger,in the south-western city of Freiburg.

The victim went missing while returning home from a party,as her corpse was discovered in a river.

The man was detained weeks later,when the results of DNA tests connected him to the case.
