(MENAFN) China has welcomed a senior North Korean diplomat after concluding his trip to Finland.
The arrival was confirmed to have been on Thursday as Deputy Director General for North American affairs at North Korea's Foreign Ministry Choe Kang Il set land in Beijing.
The trip to Finland was set for informal discussions with US and South Korean officials about the probability of a summit to be held between the US and North Korean presidents.
However, the Finnish Foreign Ministry announced giving up North Korea to nuclear power to have not been discussed.
