(MENAFN) A vast power cutoff on more than half of Brazilian states,left people in the dark on Wednesday afternoon.
The reason behind the blackout isn't revealed yet.
The northern and northeastern regions of the country were the most influenced by the cutoff ,including Alagoas, Amapa,Amazonas, Bahia,Ceara,Maranhao,Para,Paraiba,Piaui, Pernambuco,Rio Grande do Norte,Rondonia,Sergipe and Tocantins.
Local media declared that 93 percent of the towns in the 14 mentioned states were troubled by the blackout.
