(MENAFN) The Tony Award winner of the original 1976 Broadway musical of "A Chorus Line",Sammy Williams,has died at the age 69.
Family spokeswoman and friend,Brandee Barnaby declared that Williams has died while suffering from cancer in Los Angeles.
Williams' role of Paul in "A Chorus Line." Granted him the title of best featured actor.
He also played small roles on Broadway in "Applause" and "The Happy Time."
