New Delhi, Mar 22 (KNN) Eyeing at dissecting the various complications faced by the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) of the state, Indian Industries Association is to carry out a state-wide dedicated research.

V.K Agarwal, Past President of the Federation of Indian Micro and Small & Medium Enterprises (FISME) is appointed to lead the study and guide its execution.

Talking to KNN, Agarwal said that the main focus of the study would be to explore the ‘pain points' concerning the micro, small and medium enterprises associated with IIA.

'Over 7-8 lakh MSMEs across 40 chapters that are associated with Indian Industries Association are to be a part of the study, he said.

Of the various headings under which the study is to take place, GST related concerns, credit access, competition environment, technology, marketing issues are to be on the focus.

Post curation of the data, the executive committee of the research team will collate the data and work with the government to address the concerns.

'The study is already started and we expect it to complete in 3 months time, after which the industry body will work with the government to solve the problems that are haunting the MSMEs in Uttar Pradesh Agarwal said. (KNN/DA)
