(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) A woman, who was in labour, got stuck with her husband in a maze of rush-hour trafficon Wednesdaymorning. The worried man didn't know how to reach her to the hospital. He felt helpless as he watched his wife going through the pangs.
Time was crucial, and the delay could have been life-threatening.
Suddenly, an idea struck the man and he dialled the Sharjah Police, telling them about the dire situation they were in while seeking their help. In the wink of an eye, a team of the Sharjah Police was at the site for the couple's rescue.
The police patrol cut through the nightmarish gridlocks and safely dropped off the pregnant woman at the hospital, where she safely gave birth to a healthy baby.
