Malindo Air obtains IATA membership


(MENAFN- Bangladesh Monitor) Kuala Lumpur : Malindo Air, recent winner of CAPA's 2016 Asia Pacific Regional Airline of the Year, celebrated another new milestone as the airline received its International Air Transportation Association (IATA) certificate as IATA member.

Prior to attaining this membership, Malindo Air had been certified by the IATA Operational Safety Audit, an internationally recognised and accepted evaluation system designed to assess the operational management and control system of an airline.

Chandran Rama Muthy, CEO, Malindo Air said, 'As a premium service airline, we will be able to create better values and achieve more by being an IATA member. We have continued to set ourselves at par with the international aviation standard, and we hope to raise the bar collectively with our partners in the industry.'
