(MENAFN) Bilateral cooperation and ways to supply Ukraine with Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) were the main agenda discussed between Ukrainian President, Petro Poroshenko and Qatar's Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani.
"We agreed that Qatar is ready to provide liquefied gas to us," Poroshenko said on Monday during his official visit to Qatar.
A statement by the Ukrainian president's press office said the president proposed to supply his country with Qatari LNG via Poland or Turkey.
The Ukrainian president arrived on Monday in Qatar for an official visit during which he met with Qatar Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and other senior officials.
On Monday, Qatar received the Ukrainian president in an official visit during which a number of agreements were struck, including one on military technical cooperation.
