Qatar- Emir issues decrees approves Cabinet decision

DOHA: Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued yesterday Emiri Decision No. 11 of 2018 establishing Qatar national Library. The decision is effective starting from its date of issue and is to published in the official gazette. H H the Emir also issued yesterday Law No. 3 of 2018 on the national system for controlling and overseeing nuclear materials.

Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued Decree No. 14 of 2018 ratifying a memorandum of understanding on combating crime between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Italian Republic signed in Rome on April 16, 2012 and annexed to this decree, which shall have the force of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution, reported QNA.

The Emir also issued Decree No. 15 of 2018 approving the accession of the State of Qatar to the International Convention for the Control and Management of Ships' Ballast Water and Sediments 2004 annexed to this decree, which shall have the force of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution.

The Emir approved the Council of Ministers Decision No. 14 of 2018 on the application of the provisions of Law No. (24) of 2002 regarding retirement and pensions on Qatari employees in global professional services company and Haider holding company. The Emir also issued emiri Decision No. 10 of 2018 on appointing Hassan Hamza Asad Hashem as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Federal Republic of Somalia.

The Emir issued an instrument of ratification approving a draft air services agreement between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic signed in Doha on 21/1/2018. The Emir also issued an instrument of ratification approving a draft air services agreement between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas signed in Colombo on 5/12/2017.

The Emir issued an instrument of ratification approving a draft air services agreement between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Republic of Sierra Leone signed in Doha on February 5, 2018.
