(MENAFN) A powerful tornado,which widely expanded,have damaged thousands of facilities and vehicles,including a college campus in the Deep South,according to Daybreak Tuesday.
Tornado alerts in Mississippi,Alabama and Georgia have been launched after the area surrounding Jacksonville State University was struck violently as the storm went through the south.
Richard Brasher,aged 60,deployed couch cushions to protect his wife,daughter and two grandchildren while they hid in the bathtub,adding that the "the roar was terrifying" as the storm swept cross the college area.
He also declared:"I thought we were gone," "It happened so fast."
