Mark Zuckerberg to not attend Facebook open meeting

(MENAFN) Facebook was declared to be assembling its staff for an open meeting after Cambridge Analytica was claimed to have been keeping its users' information.

However, the meeting was revealed to not be attended by Facebook's chief executive and founder Mark Zuckerberg.

The meeting was also confirmed to be taking place on Tuesday with the company's deputy general counsel Paul Grewal as its chair.

It comes after allegations were raised against Cambridge Analytica of exploiting 50 million users' personal information to meddle with the US 2016 presidential election.
