(MENAFN) The White House has dismissed claims that revolved around President Trump of mulling over a decision to sack Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
It comes in the middle of violent criticism against President Trump's threats to the probe that looks into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
White House lawyer Ty Cobb issued a statement, beginning with "in response to media speculation and related questions being posed to the administration."
The lawyer then declared "the White House yet again confirms that the president is not considering or discussing the firing of the Special Counsel, Robert Mueller."
