Amman, March 19 (Petra)- Minister of State for Media Affairs and Government Spokesperson, Mohammad Momani, mourned the death of Fahed Fanek, a prominent economic analyst at Al-Rai daily newspaper, who passed away early Monday, ending a formidable career.
"Journalism lost a pillar of high-profile media, who always sought to serve the best interests of the country and its people, " Momani said in his obituary, and highlighted the late journalist's key contributions to both journalism and economy.
Momani commended Fanek's achievements, sincere works, and his ability to propose bold ideas, which always drew people's attention, a trove of characteristics that made him win respect of all.
The minister expressed his heartfelt condolences to the deceased's family and to his fellow journalists, recalling his longstanding media contributions and efficacy of his views on various local and regional issues, and his top-notch excellence in all positions throughout his career.
