DG ISPR says all terrorists' safe haven eliminated in Pakistan


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) RAWALPINDI: Director General Inter Services Public Relations Major General Asif Ghafoor has said all terrorists' safe havens inside Pakistan have been eliminated.

He said that as many as 200,000 soldiers have been deployed in Fata to combate disorganized militants. DG ISPR reiterated his stance and said that there were no terrorists or militants outfit operating inside Pakistan and said that this has been conveyed to the United States authorities several times.

He said that war on terror has come at a huge prices for Pakistan. 'Blood of over 750,000 Pakistanis with a loss of more than $123 billion inflicted to national exchequer,' he said.

He said that Pakistan has fought a successful war against terrorism. He claimed that India is busy in fomenting unrest through terrorism using Afghan soil.
