The Indian women were thrashed black and blue by Meg Lanning & Co. as Australia beat India by 97-runs to whitewash the 3-match ODI series.

Alyssa Healy starred for the yellow brigade, as she scored her maiden international hundred to guide the visitors to 332/7.

Ashleigh Gardner then ensured that India were bundled out for 235.

Here's the match report.

Australia won the toss and opted to bat first.

Healy's brilliant 133 guided Australia to 332/7, their first 300+ score since 2012.

Australia's 332/7 is their highest total against India and overall their third highest total in women's ODIs.

Alyssa Healy was dropped twice by Mona Meshram on the boundary line on 27 and again on 58.

Indian openers get off to a flying start
Failed to capitalise

With nothing to lose, India women went all out with openers Smriti Mandhana and 17-year-old Jemimah Rodrigues smashing their way to 101 for no loss in 13 overs.

However, India's aggression didn't last long, as Rodrigues and Mandhana fell to Ashleigh Gardner.

This broke India's momentum and things soon turned ugly.

Skipper Mithali Raj and vice-captain Harmanpreet Kaur tried to rebuild the innings for India but the Australian bowlers kept the pressure on.

Mithali's dismissal opened the floodgates and Australia wrapped up India for 235 to seal the clean sweep of the 3-match ODI series.

India will be seen next in action in the T20I tri-series against Australia and England from March 22 to 31.
