NSW blaze spread,burn through properties


(MENAFN) An enraged bushfire left many houses and facilities,with a famous caravan park among them,either destructed or damaged close to Bega in NSW's southeast.

Residents of the coastal Tathra town were informed that it was late to leave as the fire quickly spread among properties on Sunday night,as a person described the incident as "dire".

The NSW Rural Fire Service announced an emergency state as the blaze,inflamed in Tarraganda,went through the Bega River.

The flames were triggered by strong winds with hot temperatures,as the blaze spread across seven kilometers of bushland into the township and right to the coast.
