20-time Grand Slam winner Roger Federer continued his unbeaten run in 2018 as he reached the final of BNP Paribas Open.

Federer beat 49th ranked Borna Coric 5-7, 6-4, 6-4.

This was Federer's 17th consecutive victory in 2018, he surpassed his previous best of 16 which he had achieved in 2006.

The Swiss maestro is fighting for a record sixth Indian Wells title.

Roger Federer has been in commanding mode this season after winning 39 of the 43 sets he has faced. He claimed his 20th Slam of his career after winning the Australian Open 2018. He also bagged the title in Rotterdam recently.


Juan Martin del Potro to meet Federer in final

Juan Martin del Potro overcame Milos Raonic to enter the final at the Indian Wells.

The veteran Argentine beat Raonic in straight sets 6-2, 6-3 and set up a finale clash with Roger Federer.

The sixth seed has himself been on an 10-match unbeaten run and is expected to provide a stern challenge for Federer.

He has a 16-3 record this year.
