Skydive Qatar Center at Um Al Shkhot Airport opens

DOHA: Skydive Qatar Center was inaugurated yesterday at Um Al Shkhot Airport in the north of Qatar.

The inauguration included a presentation of outstanding aerial performances, in addition to paramotor shows and helicopter displays in the skies of Um Shkhot.

The new center will help to boost tourism in the country as skydiving has become popular in Qatar, said CEO of Skydive Qatar Center Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Ahmed bin Khalifa Al Thani. 'We will work to support the team by discovering talent in the parachute jump, he said, adding that the center will be subject to all Qatar Air Sports Committee regulations that combine all air sports under its umbrella.

The CEO of Skydive Qatar Center pointed out that registration in the center is open to all those who wish to practice air sports, both young men and young women, adding that the center provides high qualified trainers and a place dedicated to children's entertainment.
