(MENAFN- Trend News Agency ) First Deputy Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Dinara Kemelova met with UN Resident Coordinator, UNDP Resident Representative in Kyrgyzstan Ozonnia Ojielo, Kabar with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The state and prospects of development of relations with the representation of the United Nations Development Program in the Kyrgyz Republic were considered during the meeting. In particular, plans were discussed for the development of the textile industry in the country based on the experience of Vietnam, Thailand and Bangladesh, and the integration of the Goals in the field of sustainable development known as the Transformation of Our World: the sustainable development agenda for the period up to 2030, with existing national development programs in Kyrgyzstan.
The sides reaffirmed mutual readiness for further strengthening of the ties in the implementation of the project activities of the UN system in the country.
