Hansal Mehta wants Vidya Balan to star in Sridevi's biopic

Director Hansal Mehta, who had earlier said that he wanted to do a film with Sridevi and even had an apt script in mind, is now planning to make a film on the life of the late actress, as a tribute.
Talking about the project, Mehta divulged that he might approach Vidya Balan for the biopic.
However, nothing has been finalized as of now.

"The film on Sridevi's life will be made. There are actors who I have in my mind to be a part of the project. I might approach Vidya Balan for the same," Mehta said.

Leaving behind the failure of his last directorial venture 'Simran' that starred Kangana Ranaut, Mehta is now looking forward to the release of his next film 'Omerta'.
The film stars his favorite Rajkummar Rao. The actor-director duo has earlier collaborated on films like 'Shahid', 'Citylights' and 'Aligarh'.
They have also worked together in a web series called 'Bose: Dead/Alive'.
