Match Day is an annual rite of passage across the United States. Two-thirds (67 percent) of MSM students matched to primary care specialties, a reflection of MSM's training mission. Faculty, staff, students and families celebrated the achievements of the future doctors in a joyous heartwarming ceremony on the school's campus.
During the ceremony, students received personalized letters showing where they matched for their residency.They matched to prominent medical centers across the country including but not limited to: Emory University School of Medicine, Kaiser Permanente, Rutgers - New Jersey Medical School. This year also saw the largest percentage of students (23.7 percent, 18 students) selecting to stay at MSM to continue their residency.
